REFRESHING DESIGN
3D PRODUCT RENDERING
Producing 3D or CGI products take a little planning before you jump in and render. In this project, I wanted to show off my ability to provide an alternative to photography. Sure, photography is great. It’s worked for many generations for all sorts of advertising mediums. I also wanted to prove that you can quickly swap out labels on a bottle or can and re render in less time than setting up a reshoot.
The first thing that needed to be done was to create a fictitious product and brand. I always like to use common names within my fake product renderings.
I treat the labels just like creating a real one for a product. Most of the time when working with customers and their products, I use their actual label design. Once you set this area up, you can easily swap out the labels if anything changes after the fact.
